Ok, so here's my problemo. I know this guy who likes me and I don't really know if I like him back, he makes me happy and I look forward to talking to him and he eats Slim Jims. He makes me happy though! I dunno what to do! I am not allowed to have boyfriends or anything like that but if I said yes I don't know how it will work out because we don't live by eachother. He is such a great guy, we have lots in common, and he makes me look forward to talking to him. This is a problemo because I can't control my emotions and I can't make myself stop liking him. Yes, there I said it, I do like him. And I like the dream I had with him in it. He's so nice that Shane. Haha. Any advice here?! I need it like now!♥

ReplyDeleteAside from that, why is there a question? Why can't you just be friends, hang out together, and enjoy talking together? I don't understand why guys and girls can't just say "Hey, you're cute and I enjoy spending time with you" and leave it at that. There shouldn't be any pressure to label a guy a "boyfriend" or a girl a "girlfriend." When you start putting labels on things you start getting expectations. Like, if you have a boyfriend, you gotta kiss him. Why? If you didn't want to kiss him before, why does the word "boyfriend" make it different?
And guys are pressured as much as girls. If you have a "girlfriend" then everyone expects that you're going to make progress on the path to doing certain things. Again, why? Why can't I just enjoy talking and having ice cream with a girl instead of having to plot to get her alone someplace?
Just enjoy your time with him for what it is. Don't put any pressure on yourself for it to be anything more or different than it already is. And if he is pressuring you, then step back and ask yourself why. No one should have to be uncomfortable with someone else because the other one wants more than they do.
And Slim Jim, totally gross when you read the ingredients... even if they do taste kinda good.
Haha, nice Shane, I lurve Slim Jims! Haha! And thank you for that word of advice, I agree with you. No Shane is not pressuring me, in fact, it was our friend Brendan that asked. Shane was kinda embarrased about it. But Shane is nice and I like how you said, "Hey you're cute and I enjoy spending time with you". I wish he would say that to me. You don't hear that anymore these days because boys wanna be all tough and perverted. But Shane, he's different, he is nice, we have lots in common, he plays piano (BOUNS!), and we are on the phone just about all night.
ReplyDeleteHe's cute (In a matter of being a boy), he's not perverted like a lot of my guyfriends. He's really really nice. We went to the movies together. (Me, Rachel, Caitlynn, Brendan, and Shane) he didnt try anything so he's really just a nice guy. :)
