So when I decide to lay my pretty little head down on a soft pink pillow for a nap, I had the wierdest dream. I will tell you what it was about. So try to get the best image in your head.
It was lunchtime and I was going to let this guy Matt borrow my book The Year of Secret Assignments. So I went over to his table and gave him the book without saying a word. Everyone at his table was asking him why I had given him a book since he doesn't read. DO NOT tell this to the teachers at my school but he just puts down random page numbers on his reading log and has his mom sign it so he can give it to our Language Arts teacher. Anyways, I went back to my table and then we ended up moving our place to a different table all the way across the cafeteria and near the stage. Then the bell rang and everyone was flooding out of the lunch-room. I went to my locker to put away my things and grab what I need for 4th hour and then Matt came up behind me and asked me for a hug. I denied him. But guess what? He gave me a hug anyways from behind me! Can you believe that?! That is ABSURD! THE END.
So that was crazy and meaningless, right? I always thought that dreams were trying to tell you something important. But in this case, I do not know what it is trying to tell me. That I will let Matt borrow The Year of Secret Assignments? I dunno. What do YOU think? Seriously. Tell me. I would like to know. Feel free to share with me and your anonymous friends here. We are all ears.
Best Wishes,

Dreams can be messages. Most often dreams are just random replays of thoughts and events. If there's any secret meaning in this dream (unlikely) it's probably something simple. Like, maybe you feel sorry for Matt because he doesn't read. You read, so you think everybody else should. And even though you denied him a thank you hug, he took it anyway and you didn't say you freaked out and hit him or anything, so maybe you didn't mind that much since you thought you did something nice for him (loaning the book).
ReplyDeleteP.S. Loaning books is risky. Seems like sometimes people don't respect them and you won't get them back or they'll come back all beat up.
Well you see Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI didn't have the chance to slap this guy or freak out because my dream ended when my friend woke me up by coming to my house. So therefore, I couldn't have finished my dream. And I so agree and disagree about letting people borrow books. It depends on who you are letting borrow. I mean, my friend Tree borrows my books and I borrow hers and they do not get all crappy when we recieve them back. But you may be right in this situation about Matt. Like what does he care about reading, right? And yeah, I do feel that everyone should read because it just seems right. And I do feel sorry for him at times, but mostly I do not and that is not because I am a mean person which I am not.
